LEE MORGAN: "THE COOKER" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #1578. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp! Original MONO 1st pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on both labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides. "EAR" etched and RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Lee Morgan/trumpet; Pepper Adams/baritone sax; Bobby Timmons/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; "Philly" Joe Jones/drums. The vinyl is in VG+ condition, impressive high gloss! There are several very tiny scratch marks that may be briefly audible on occasion. The thick laminated cover is in superb M- shape, bright & clean with tight seams, displays wonderfully!! No seam splits of any kind, no bends or creases, no cut-out marks, no writing, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The songs are: A Night In Tunisia; Heavy Dipper; Just One Of Those Things; Lover Man; New-Ma.
