Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept free return if it doesn't match the listing description.

This one is the first mono, flat edged, and deep-grooved pressing of Lee Morgan's LEE MORGAN SEXTET (or LEE MORGAN VOL.2 : SEXTET).  Blue Note Records BLP-1541. A heavy vinyl and flat rim version.  This is an original issue from Blue Note Records, not a reissue version of Classic Records or Analog Production.

Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with "RVG" and "EAR" etched on the dead wax of both sides. No "R" and no "INC" on both sides.  Address on labels: "BLUE NOTE RECORDS 767 LEXINGTON AVE NYC".

The cover is also the 1st version frame cover with no laminate on the front.  Address on the back cover is as follows: BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21.

Artists: Lee Morgan (trumpet), Hank Mobley (tenor saxophone), Kenny Rodgers (alto saxophone), Horace Silver (piano), Paul Chambers (bass), Charlie Persip (drums).

The vinyl plays NM- on Side 1 (due to some small pops on Song no.1 of around 5%) and NM on Side 2.  It looks bright and shinny.

The cover is NM-.  Strong but have just some small paper losses on seams and small crack and small split on the lower right corner (see picture).  Otherwise, nice.

The record is play graded as well as visually.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.

My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.  And I will accept a free return.  Please bid with confidence.

Shipping:

The record will ship worldwide from Bangkok, Thailand, via registered air parcel post.  I will use a professional packing service to pack them secure for a long journey.

Shipping to the Americas and Europe: 20 USD.  To Asia and Australia: 15 USD.
