Description
This is the original 1960 mono pressing of the Young Lions LP on Vee Jay LP 3013, featuring jazz greats Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, Frank Strozier, Louis Hayes, Bobby Timmons, Bob Cranshaw, and Albert Heath. This is one of Wayne Shorter's earliest records and features three of his compositions, along with one by Morgan and one by Timmons.
This copy is in absolutely beautiful condition, almost perfect mint. There are some very faint scuffs, sort of.. but really it is so clean you will have to look hard to see any signs of its having been handled at all. Plays beautifully, almost mint. The cover is likewise in beautiful, crisp and shiny condition, with only a corner ding at the lower left worth mentioning. There is a tiny, minimal sign of ringwear, but only barely. Really a beautiful copy, very hard to beat. And it sounds absolutely fantastic. These guys are all in their youthful prime. Wonderful.
