Description
One of the most unknown blanks I have seen on Doctor Bird. Even the best reggae expert who heard this does not know what one side is, never heard the song.
It is listed on the internet as DB 1173 A which is supposed to be Jackie Mittoo's 'Dark Of The Moon' but it plays an unlnown really cool reggae song that sounds much like Lee Perry. Both songs will be uploaded so if anyone can solve that mystery..
The other side is A DIFFERENT DB cat no DB 1171 A!! This plays 8 for 8 by Lee Perry which is listed as 'unknown' on sites for this cat number.
Both play great with some scratches, surface etc. vg- to vg.
Serious collector's piece to fill that mystery cat no Gap!
LISTEN UNKNOWN DB 1171A. http://youtu.be/u_YSqEcIF-4
NO RESERVE!,. It maybe a one off pressing, a withdrawn release even but to have two different cat numbers both A sides is even stranger.... From 1969 and one f Perry's best moments.....
Uk £3.50 USA £10 Japan £11 europe £9.50 uninsured.Any zero feedback bidder will be immediately removed to avoid scam bidders...be warned.
Good luck, this is a unique opportunity to win possibly one of the rarest reggae ska pressings .....

On 09-Feb-15 at 20:57:26 GMT, seller added the following information:I've been very kindly informed that the mystery side is infact Lee Perry What a Botheration (See it Deh) released 1969 on the Duke label DU10
! Not sure why it is on a Doctor Bird record...? Thanks for the info ebay member stapres much appreciated! On 09-Feb-15 at 21:22:37 GMT, seller added the following information:Stapres has also informed that
It was intended for release on Doctor Bird but they often released tracks they didn't have the rights to and likely had to pull it.
Thanks for the info, this could well be a withdrawn blank as it has the DB matrixes intended for release perhaps....all the same they are two great Perry tracks on one seven inch that may only be in a handful that exist or less...
