Description
LEFT END "Sunshine Girl" b/w "Someday (I Will See)"
Original 1971 45 on the PEPPERMINT label
Plays VG++
Ballz to the wall heavy screaming gee-tarrrr cockrock from Youngstown Ohio circa 1971. You’d think with a name like “Sunshine Girl,” this obscure basement psych single would be all hippie dippie, flower power and lovey dovey like a paisley 1910 Fruitgum Company hit, but you couldn’t be further from the truth. Instead, it rips out of the speakers like some lost Uriah Heep single, a blistering slab of histrionic early Seventies weedburning rock that owes more to Deep Purple than the Ohio Express. Flip “Someday (I Will See)” is more of the same, only slightly slower. Betcha NO ONE in this band had hair that ended above the waist.
HEAR THE RECORD YOU'RE BIDDING ON:
Winning bidder pays $4 shipping in the US (each add'l 45 adds only 50 cents), $6 to Canada (each add'l 45 only $1 extra), and $8 everywhere else except Italy (each add'l 45 adds $2). Italian customers must add $33 for registered insured priority airmail - no exceptions - because otherwise your mailman will be playing your record on his home system by this time next month.
Paypal accepted, as well as other methods too. Payment expected within 14 days of auction end, which I think is pretty fair. Don't make me track you down. I got a mortgage to pay too. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding!
