Artist: LELAND    Title: This Is My World     Label: Contempt (Private Press)   Catalog # R-2954    Year:1978     Condition: COVER=  EXCELLENT  (Slight ring wear, Virtually no edge wear, All 4 corners have slight to moderate wear, Sticker mark- Top Right Corner, Artwork and Graphics are EXCELLENT!!)    RECORD=  EXCELLENT (Faint hairlines on both sides which do not sound or affect play.  One scuff on Side1- Song 3 which does not sound or affect play. You may notice a bit of light surface noise between tracks and in softer passages. Plays MINT MINUS!!!  No other defects to report!!)    Allright all you rockers and rockettes, what we have here is what I can best describe as one of those all-purpose musicians who does everything on this album except play drums!!   His name is Leland Yoshitsu and is from California!!   He Produced, Directed, Mixed, Wrote, Arranged, Sang and Played!!   The record was Engineered by David Blossom.   This LP was actually recorded in 1975 but for whatever reason it was not released until 1978. The label, Contempt Records apparently was based in Berkeley, CA.   This Self-Taught, Decathlon, Hard Rock Musician released at least two other albums: "LELAND" (1976) and " LIVE AT MABUHAY GARDENS" (1977).   All of them are quite Rare and Hard To Find these days and are seldom offered for sale!!!   The music is awesome guitar-oriented Hard Rock and Melodic Hard Rock with frenzied Leads, Echoes and Wah-Wah Effects!!  There is a total of 6 songs on this record and most of them are in the 5 to 6 minute range!!   All the cuts are winners, you will not be disappointed!!!    Track Listing:  SIDE 1=   A Lucky Man, Goodbye, My Loneliness, I've Got Some Happiness   SIDE 2 =   Sail A Crest, Trip Ship, This Is My World    Band members are: Leland Yoshitsu (Lead Vocals, Guitars, Bass Guitar, Synthesizer, Organ)  and  Dana Rose (Drums).   THIS MAY BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO OWN THIS RECORD!!!   DON'T LET THIS PASS YOU BY!!!   THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS ITEM!!!      GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!!!
