Complesso Broady - Risate di gioia OST

Italian pressing, Titanus Tld 5003 (1960)

Very rare Italian soundtrack 45 of the 1960 comedy "Risate di gioia" directed by Mario Monicelli with Totò and Anna Magnani. Music by Italian piano player Lelio Luttazzi with his Complesso Broady.

One of the very best Italian jazz soundtrack 45 ever after Umiliani's "I soliti ignoti" and a few others. Both side are great but track "Due tromboni in jeans" is superb hard bop with magnificent solos. Uncredited musicians but most probably Lelio Luttazzi at the Piano, Bill Gilmore (Trombone), Beppe Carta (Double bass), Franco Chiari (Vibes) and Gegè Munari (Drums) plus others from the cream of Italian jazz scene of that period!

Conditions:

Cover: The fragile Titanus company sleeve is VG+ with a small tear on back.
Record: VG-. Plays nice with crackling at the beginning of both side due to some small scratches. Has a few audible clicks midway due to some marks. Music is still very enjoyable, hear the clip for audio quality.

Grading scale (strict gradings): M, M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.
