Notes/Comments: This tape is an excellent 2 track specimen from 1957, sung by Lena Horne, a hugely popular and talented lady. Lena Horne (born June 30, 1917, Brooklyn, New York, USA – died May 9, 2010, Manhattan, New York, USA) was an American singer, actress, dancer and civil rights activist who, in 1942, became the first African-American performer to be put under contract by a major studio.

Reel Condition: I have 100 percent play tested this tape. There are no dropouts and no noisy spots. The label is excellent and the plastic reel is clear, not yellowed.
Box Condition: No broken box corners, hinge is intact, box interior is yellowed, box does not smell, tape gum on right side which wraps around to the rear (likely from the manufacturer to hold the box closed), no writing or stickers on the box. Front artwork is rated 8 on 10 scale due to some wear spots. The rear is rated 8.5 on 10 scale due to some discoloration. Spine label has a small wrinkle. Overall a very nice box.
Quality Counts: Leader tape (3M timing) has been added to both ends of the tape. Once the tape is completely on the reel the leader end is secured in the reel with soft foam to keep the tape from unwinding during storage and shipment. For shipping, foam inserts are placed around the reels in the reel box to stop the reel from rattling around. The tape will be placed inside a new plastic bag, the bagged tape is placed in the box, then the box is also placed in a plastic bag. I clean everything that I can, including the box exterior, reel and reel label. No grunge here!
