Description

Here is a hard to find early pressing vinyl copy of the classic 1962 LEO WRIGHT Atlantic Jazz LP "SUDDENLY THE BLUES", that has been signed by jazz legends JUNIOR MANCE and ED THIGPEN on back cover. This is a STEREO copy with raised purple lettering in the top right corner of album cover. This was released on the red ATLANTIC records label with the album code SD. 1392. Vinyl is in VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) condition and plays great. Sleeve has minor storage and handling wear with two promotional punch holes in top and bottom left corner of cover. The sleeve is free of splits and creases. The Junior Mance autograph is inscribed "KEEP WAILING! - JUNIOR MANCE" and the Ed Thigpen signature reads "TO BILL - HAPPINESS AND SUCCESS - ED THIGPEN". I am not sure why these two musicians signed this album, because it does not appear that they play on the record.
