 Brand new 10 trk album from legendary singer/poet whose career spans six decades .  His first studio album in over eight years on LIMITED EDITION vinyl. Includes BONUS CD album for your convenience. The recording of 'Old Ideas' began in January 2011, although some of these songs and lyrics have been works in progress for years.  Early versions of two tracks, "Amen" and "Lullaby" were originally recorded in 2007, while early versions of “Lullaby” and “ The Darkness” were performed during Cohen's recent sold-out world tour. Produced with Patrick Leonard, Anjani Thomas, Ed Sanders and Dino Soldo. Complementing Cohen's signature baritone on 'Old Ideas' are the exceptional vocalists Dana Glover, Sharon Robinson, The Webb Sisters (Hattie and Charley Webb) and Jennifer Warnes.
