LES CHAMPIGNONS LP CANADIAN PSYCH GARAGE PROG NM shrink
I just acquired a huge collection of Canadian records. Many rarities are part of this find, books and magazines too. I will need a few months to go through them to see what I have. Let’s start with some of them.
Offered up for auction is a record in EXCELLENT CONDITION ITEM. Starting with one of the weirdest picture sleeve ever made from this era, their album opens with dynamite, a good guitar driven instrumental with bluesy number and fuzz guitar work on side one. It’s dominated by the haunting and a half minute experimental progressive number on side two. Valuation of rarity in Vernon Joynson’s DFN Canadian Rock Guide is (R3) extremely rare. Valuation of rarity in Hans Pokora’s RCD Guide is (2) rare.
This was poorly promoted and distributed, it didn't sell well. A true rarity!
