Description
LESTER YOUNG WITH THE OSCAR PETERSON TRIO VOL. 1 NORGRAN MG N-5 EX/EX – 10” LP FIRST PRESSING MONO
This session was recorded on November 28, 1952 and features: Lester Young (ts,vcl) Oscar Peterson (p) Barney Kessel (g) Ray Brown (b) J.C. Heard (d). SIDE A: Ad Lib Blues and I Can’t Get Started. SIDE B: Just You, Just Me and Almost Like being In Love. This is Norgran’s first release of this material on a 10 inch LP. It is a MONO recording.
I have graded both the vinyl and the record jacket as EX. As for the vinyl, I could have graded it M-, but no 10 inch LP is really that good. The vinyl is clear of any marks on both sides of the LP. The vinyl still retains its original luster. There is no surface noise when played. The sound is excellent. There is no sign of wear in and around the spindle hole on and no marks on the label. The record jacket is rated as EX due to some slight wear on the lower part of the cover. There is some discoloration on the liner notes. There are no taped seams on it as well. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
