ORIGINAL VERY FIRST U.K. 1969 UNBOXED STEREO DECCA PRESSING OF LET IT BLEED - THE ROLLING STONES WITH ORIGINAL INNER, ALL IN VG CONDITION
This pressing of let it bleed is the very first U.K. issue, as it’s blue and silver ‘unboxed’ stereo decca labels indicate.
It has its original front laminated decca cover sleeve too, in all around great condition. This is the very first issue of the sleeve, as indicated by its hole on the back for the format indicator.
It’s complete with its original custom printed track listing inner, with its original choir credits for ‘you can’t always get what you want.’
Cover Sleeve : VG - all around in great condition with a clean and clear front panel, clean and legible spine, with it’s only real flaw being a tear mark as pictured on the back. This is likely caused by the removal of a sticker. The back is a little bit yellowed from age, with general edge wear.
Record : VG - some surface lines across both playing surfaces on either side. I have played the lp and these do not sound, apart from minor crackle here and there to be expected. A couple of pops on the start of side 1 which quickly go away. Lovely, rich and deep 60’s sound. Usually considered the best pressing audio wise.
Labels : VG - some minor age related wear but pretty much clean all around. Lovely and vibrant.
Inner : VG - some minor ageing wear from use, but lovely and intact with no rips or tears. One side of the inner has a 1cm split which could be fixed, but no other faults.
Sadly no poster, but still a lovely and hard to find pressing in this condition.
