Description

First issue on B. B. King's short lived label. 'Motherless child blues' is a beautifully balanced blues with vocal and harp from Seabury. BB is in the mix somewhere. The reverse is a nice riffing instrumental. A fine record in my view. The only thing he recorded as far as I know. I often wonder what else he could have done on record but maybe his one masterpiece is enough! Memphis, 1956.
