This looks like a 50s or 60s era issue of these recordings... Edited by Duncan B. M. Emrich... Recorded between 1938 and 1947 By Alan Lomax, Duncan B. M. Emrich, Elizabeth Lomax, Artus M. Moser and others, In Kentucky, Ohio, Sam Hinton & Wayne Dinwiddie were recorded in California (?), Washington D.C. (Mrs. Carrie Grover of Gorham, Maine....I used to be on the radio in Gorham, Maine...) and North Carolina... Mostly sung, with Banjo, Fiddle and Guitar... Fascinating look at the roots of Folk and Popular Songs in the United States! Selections and artists are: "RUFUS CRISP: BANJO TUNING AND SONGS- SOURWOOD MOUNTAIN/ DO LITTLE BODDY DO/ SHOO FLY.
