Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 5 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the dark blue Library of Congress Division of Music, Recording Laboratory label, Washington D.C. 1947. Recordings from early to mid 1940s, recorded by a variety of people including the Lomaxes. It is Album XX entitled Folk Music Of The United States, Anglo-American Songs and Ballads from the Archive of American Folk Song. It features Vocals, Guitar, Banjo, Fiddle Mandolin and more. I have a pictures of each of the 10 sides for reference to titles and artists. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well. It even has the accompanying typed paper booklet with it (8 pages, 1 sheet missing, I think). Cover in very good condition as well.
