LIFE s/t Rare 1970 Canadian Polydor Fuzz  Rock lp Ex!

1970/Canada/Polydor 2424 001…..here’s a clean original pressing of this very scarce Canadian Psych Rock lp. The lightly textured cover is in Excellent condition with slight corner wear and a bit of light shelf soiling on the white back, there are some small pieces of scotch tape left on the inside of the cover, apparently the shrink had been taped to the cover, otherwise solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in glossy Excellent condition with a handful of super light inaudible hairlines from removal. The record looks and plays clean with little noise and nice clean fidelity. The "deep groove" labels are clean. A gorgeous copy here! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!

Formed from the ashes of The Scene, the original line up was completed with Sheppard’s brother Michael Ship on keyboards and lead vocals, guitarist J P Lauzon (ex-Carnival Connection) and former Bartholomew Plus Three guitarist Barry Albert. Lauzon and Albert alternated lead guitar and rhythm on the band’s recordings. Life played at the First Montreal Bi-Cultural Pop Festival in June 1969, which was held at the Montreal Forum and featured Triangle, Robert Charlebois and headliner Steppenwolf. The group’s lone album, which features contributions from Englishman Malcolm Tomlinson on flute from Milkwood, was recorded on four-track and then transferred to the first eight track in Canada by Andre Perry.

GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
