Description

Folkways FS-31011, "Lightnin' Hopkins" from 1959/62. Red-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. Heavy jacket is almost like new with no visible seamwear, corner wear, ringwear, writing or stamps and is extremely clean. Enclosed descriptive notes are in good shape. This is the album that brought Lightnin' out of obscurity and on the road to worldwide recognition! Tracks are "Penitentiary Blues", "Bad Luck and Trouble", "Come Go Home with Me", "Trouble Stay 'way from My Door", "Goin' Back to Florida", "Reminiscences of Blind Lemon", "Fan It", "Tell Me Baby", and "She's Mine".
