'Po' Lightnin'' as he's nicknamed, was a brilliant acoustic folk-blues singer and composer - and his guitar playing influenced such as Eric Clapton in England.
He had a cool easy style and cut a lot of great albums for this lable, as well as several others. It's said he would require paying on the spot, before each song was recorded! An inherent distrust of record companies and managers must have been well instilled in the artist.
His vocals are addictive, matured and relaxed - as can be said of his guitar too!
Lovely music, an essential blues musician.
CONDITION;
The VINYL is a solid platter and in VG+ condition.
The sound is strong, it's seen some plays so there are some pops and light wear. No deep marks and no skips.
Lables are bright and clean, VG+.
The card COVER is VG+, light wear. Not perfect but still very presentable overall.
