Description

LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS.....LIGHTNIN' AND THE BLUES........ ....HERALD RECORDS.....LP 1012.....MONO.....1959 .....ORIGINAL PRESS with Herald Trumpet label......One of the truly hard to find Holy Grail early Blues records...........Vinyl is in VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION.....Which is conservatively grading it. No visible scuffs. Still has original shiny luster. Seems that original owner did not play it much......Jacket Sleeve is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, but shelf wear has had its way with the edges. The previous owner of this record lived to the ripe old age of 99 years and this record was part of a collection that I believe had been collecting dust  on her record shelf untouched for the better part of 40 years. The top seam is mostly broken, with visible wear. [Please see pictures] Bottom seam is mostly intact, but has about a two inch seam breakage at the mouth edge. Never the less a Very Good Condition for a record that is hard to find in any condition. .... ........  ...............................[Please see pictures].........Please feel free to ask any question, and I will do my best to answer it.....................
