LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS - SMOKES LIKE LIGHTNING LP USA 2ND ISSUE MONO ON THE PRESTIGE TRIDENT DESIGN LABEL 1963.
Excellent copy of this seldom seen Lightnin' Hopkins LP 'Smokes Like Lightning', it is the 2nd issue from the early 1960's and is in really nice condition, rarely played and from my own collection.
The Cover: This is a USA pressing and therefore comes in the typical thick card cover with paste on reverse. The front cover is textured as were some other pressings on the label, it is clean and solid with light signs of age and handling but no splits or unwanted stickers or writing. A very nice example of this release and safely grades VG+.
The Vinyl: Graded VG++ or Excellent, it is very clean and shiny, no pressing flaws or scratches. the sound quality is excellent with a little occasional light background which is pretty normal for a Bluesville pressing and its age. You will be very happy with this copy.
