Lilys, an indie rock band, formed in Washington, D.C in 1988 by then 17 year old Kurt Heasley. Recording in DC at Inner Ear Studio, Lilys’ first seven inch single “February 14th” was released on Slumberland Records in 1991. Stylistically their music evolved from their shoegazing early singles and debut album “In The Presence of Nothing” owing a great deal to My Bloody Valentine's “Loveless”.
