Title: Stone Poneys & Friends Vol. III CONDITION: Record: M- to VG++ condition. Looks lightly played. Clean labels. The disc has a slight warp in one spot. Very small. Doesn't affect play at all. Sleeve: M- condition. Still in shrink, which is tore open and wrinkled at the bottom left corner. Promo hole in upper right corner. Light age at opening on back. No splits, writing, stickers etc. Label: Capitol 2863 Overall Condition: Pretty nice copy. Description: The one to have! I'm being as critical as I can be on grading this. Always ship my records packed between thick cardboard in a mailer with the disc in a white sleeve out of the cover, which is in a plastic sleeve. So, how many people can you identify in the back cover photo taken in front of Linda's house at the time in Santa Monica, Ca. Well, that's perennial hanger on and "Mayor Of Hollywood" and future KROQ Dj Rodney Bingenheimer next to songwriters Laura Nyro and Tim Buckley on the right, that guy in the center with the long hair looks familiar but I don't know who he is and I think that's Melanie next to him, Linda's bass player Bobby Kimmel with the beard and glasses is next to her and above those rotten kids sticking out their tongues and picking their noses. Since there's a Steve Gillette song on this Lp, I'm guessing he's there too but I don't know what he looks like. I guess her guitarist Kenny Edwards was busy that day since he's not there. Where are those kids now, not to mention all the neighbors that just walked up to say "HI" while she was having her picture taken?
