LIPS Hard 'n Heavy RARE PRE ANVIL METAL LP CANADA 1980 SPLASH Private label IN SHRINK

• A real find. This is Anvil's first album, before they were called Anvil and went by the name Lips (the nickname of guitarist Steve Kudlow).

• Original pressing on the tiny private label Splash Records. Its in beautiful shape. The cover is still in the shrink wrap and it includes the original inner sleeve with lyrics.

• Condition: VINYL: I'm grading the vinyl excellent but I am tempted to call it near mint.If you hold the records in bright sunlight and strain to see, there are literally 3 or four unltra ultra faint scuiffs ~ of course no effect on play. There are a few clicks before the music starts (not during the song) preceeding track one on each side due to a bit of scuffing on the thicker area at the very outer edge of the record (again not in the playing area). The record plays near mint.

• Condition: COVER:  The cover as I said is still surrounded by the shrink wrap. Also in excellent condition. No seam splits
or cut out hole. On the back in the bottom right hand corner there is a very faint hint of a  brown stain ~all but invisible. Tiny  wear mark in the upper left corner (tiny). The iinsert has some crease marks and some wrinkles in it.
