LITFIBA - YASSASSIN - 1984 - 12".
Very rare original Italy First Issue on Contempo Records + original white inner sleeve.
Classic E.P. of Cold Wave, from Florence, Italy.
The Litfiba are a band of New Wave, formed in Florence in 1980.
The name comes from the address telex room of the historical evidence used by the band since its inception, located in Florence Via de 'Bardi at number 32: "L" (prefix telex), "IT" (Italy), "FI" (Florence) , BA (Via de 'Bardi).
The birth of the group to Frederick "Ghigo" Renzulli that, through advertisement in a local magazine, meets four boys, lovers of punk like him (at the time of the initial decline phase) 's hard rock (array seventies), but especially the new wave. Eighties their sound is a personal interpretation of new wave and, in fact, the band creates a true "wave rock Mediterranean" which combines the charm of ethnic Mediterranean sounds with the angularity of dark atmospheres English speakers.
