RARE ORIGINAL. Legendary all-star R&B Doo-Wop LP featuring members of The Dominoes, Robins, etc... Not much to say about this LP, other than it is one of the most legendary RnB , Group Harmony, Rock n Roll LP's ever issued both in rarity and music.

"Little" Esther Phillips was able to sign with Syd Nathan's King Records in 1951 after little more than a year with Savoy, as her contract with the latter proved invalid. Continuing to work with Johnny Otis, the 16-year-old Phillips cut some of her most important sides on Federal, supported on occasions by Clyde McPhatter and the Dominoes, Mel Walker, Bobby Nunn and the Robins, and blues pianist Little Willie Littlefield. Choice cuts here include the bluesy "I Paid My Dues," "Street Lights," "Aged and Mellow," and "Sweet Lips," plus the atmospheric "Storm" and novelty jump "The Deacon Moves In."...This is an indispensable collection."

Sealed records are sold as stated in unplayed condition. We cannot accept returns of sealed records under any circumstances unless they are still sealed as shipped. Please notify us with your payment if you want us to open this sealed record and check the merchandise before we ship it.

Seam splits (the disc breaking through the spine of the cover in transit) can occur as part of the shipping process. We always pack carefully, but the only sure way to prevent seam splits in transit is to remove the record from the cover before packing it, which we do with all non-sealed records. At the buyer?s request, we will open a sealed record and pack the vinyl in its protective sleeve separate from the cover. Unless the buyer requests that the sealed record be opened and packed in this manner, we are not liable for any seam splits that may occur in transit.
