THIS WEEK I WILL BE LISTING A COLLECTION OF BLUES AND MOTOWN ORIGINAL LPS FROM THE 50S AND 60S, ALL OF WHICH WERE PURCHASED BY THE OWNER WHEN FIRST RELEASED SO ARE MAINLY ALL FIRST PRESS, IF NOT EARLY PRESSES INCLUDING ARTISTS SUCH AS JOHN LEE HOOKER, MEMPHIS SLIM, JIMMY REED AND A SUPERB FIRST PRESS HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER 'HI WE'RE THE MIRACLES, UK FIRST PRESS WHICH IS IN PRISTINE NR MINT VINYL CONDITION AMONGST OTHERS SO:

I have entered a detailed description as possible below but firstly I would like to highlight a few points to any potential buyers.

I am based in Southern Spain in order to minimise the cost of shipping from here I use the standard economy parcel service to the UK and beyond, if you wish the further peace of mind of an insured protected service please let me know and I will be happy to quote you a revised shipping cost in this case.

SLEEVE - G THICK BOARD PASTED SLEEVE, VERY WELL PRESERVED FRONT PANEL WITH A SINGLE STORAGE CREASE TO TOP RIGHT CORNER EXTENDING TO NEARLY HALF WAY ACROSS TOP EDGE, BUT THIS IS NOT A SERIOUS DEEP CREASE APPROX 2CM DEEP AT MAX DEPTH OPENING EDGE, THE ODD VERY LIGHT THUMB SHAPED INDENTATION ONLY VISIBLE IN STRONG LIGHT TOWARDS OPENING EDGE, ALL CLOSED EDGES ARE FREE OF WEAR AND RETAIN ORIGINAL SHAPE APART FROM 2CM SPLIT CAUSED BY DISC WEAR TOP EDGE, OPENING EDGE IS FREE OF WEAR AND REMAINS SHARP APART FROM THE LIGHTEST OF DINKS TOWARDS BOTTOM CORNER, BOTH TOP CORNERS ARE SHARP AND FREE OF WEAR, BOTH BOTTOM CORNERS HAVE LIGHT BUMP WEAR, REAR WHITE PANEL WITH TRACK LISTING AND SLEEVE NOTES IS WHERE THE ISSUE IS WITH THIS PARTICULAR SLEEVE, HAS SUFFERED FROM SOMETHING STORED AGAINST IT WHICH HAS LEFT GENERAL BROWN SCUFF MARK COVERING MOST OF THE SLEEVE, AND 2 TEAR MARKS CENTRE PANEL WHERE THE OUTER LAYER OF THE PASTED PAPER HAS ROLLED TO REVEAL BOARD BENEATH LARGEST TEAR IS APPROX 5 CM LON AND 2.5 CM WIDE, SMALLER ONE APPROX 1CM TRIANGULAR SHAPE, DESPITE THE SCUFFING AND THE TEAR THE SLEEVE NOTES ARE STILL CLEAR AND READABLE APART FROM TEAR AREAS, BUT FOR THE CONDITION OF THE REAR PANEL SLEEVE WOULD HAVE BEEN A STRONG EX SHAME, HOWEVER IF DESIRED THE ROLLING DOES RETAIN ALL THE PAPER SO NONE IS MISSING AND COULD BE RESTORED AND PASTED BACK.

INNER SLEEVE - G+ PLAIN WHITE PAPER DOUBLE DIE CUT INNER SLEEVE, ONE SIDE SIMILAR BROWN SPOTTING TO REAR OF SLEEVE, THOUGH NOT AS PRONOUNCED, AND NO RIPS OR TEARS, LOOKS LIKE A BROWN AGE SPOTTING, OTHER SIDE JUST THE ODD AGE SPOTTING TOWARDS EDGES, LIGHT STORAGE CREASING.

LABELS - EX-/EX+ CHESS RECORDING CORP. CHICAGO BLACK AND SILVER COMPANY LABELS, THE ODD FAINT SPINDLE TRAIL TO SIDE 1 WITH LIGHT SPINDLE WEAR, VERY CLEAR AND CRISP NEW LOOKING SIDE 2 WITH NO SPINDLE MARKS WITH JUST A VERY SLIGHT RUB WEAR TO ONE SIDE, HARDLY NOTICEABLE, NO OTHER MARKS OR WRITING.

VINYL VISUAL - VG/VG  CAREFUL INSPECTION OF BOTH SIDES OF THE RECORD REVEAL PRISTINE SURFACES TO BOTH SIDES, 3 SMALL LIGHT SCRATCHES AND BLEMISH TRACKS 1 AND 2 SIDE 1, NOT FEELABLE, NOT SURE HOW THIS WOULD AFFECT PLAY, SIDE 2 IS SUPERB, INDEED APART FROM THE AFOREMENTIONED LOOKS UNPLAYED AND NE, NONE OF THE USUAL LIGHT SLEEVE REMOVAL MARKS TO EITHER SIDE. VINYL LIES COMPLETELY FLAT AND RETAINS IT'S ORIGINAL DEEP GLOSS SHINE.

APART FROM THE SLEEVE ISSUES A VERY WELL CARED FOR LP THAT HAS CLEARLY RECEIVED VERY LITTLE CAREFUL PLAY, SUPERB VINYL CONDITION.
