It’s no surprise that TV’s 1950s “Town Hall Party” is legendary among fans of American roots music. Every broadcast of the live California-based program was a rootin’, tootin’ round-up of the absolute top acts on the post-war country scene—which naturally included the giants of Western swing and many fiery young upstarts of the emerging rockabilly sound. Sundazed’s amazing Live at Town Hall Party series corrals the best of these lost incendiary performances onto pure, glorious vinyl. And here’s your chance to buy the whole darn farm for mere chicken feed. Talk about your rockabilly riot!
