Description
Per Wikipedia, Living Colour is an American rock band from New York City, formed in 1984. The band at the time consisted of guitarist Vernon Reid, lead vocalist Corey Glover, drummer Will Calhoun and bassist Muzz Skillings. Stylistically, their music was a creative fusion influenced by heavy metal, funk, jazz, hip hop, punk, and alternative rock. The band's lyrics range from the personal to the political, including social commentary on racism in the United States. The band rose to fame with their debut album Vivid, that was released on May 2, 1988, by Epic Records. It was one of the most popular albums of 1988, peaking at number six on the US Billboard 200 chart and being certified double platinum by the RIAA). The album up for bid is a 1988 release by Epic Records. It consists of 11 tracks with a run time of 49+ minutes. The cover is in VG+ condition with very little wear along the edges, corners and covers. There are no split seams, tears. bent corners or marking on the album covers. The covers are glossy and graphics, photos and color are VIVID. The paper inner sleeve is original and intact. One side of the sleeve contain track listings with lyrics. The other side has a photo of the group with production notes superimposed over the photo. The recording has been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity. All tracks have been played through and all tracks are free of skips and there is no background noise. I am the original owner of this recording and I can attest that this recording has had a very limited number of plays (less than 3). The sound is clean, clear and strong. The disc surfaces have no signs of wear with no scratches or scuffs and the labels are clean and intact. This recording looks and sounds like it just left the record shop and is of "audiophile" quality.
