THE LLOYD McNEILL QUARTET "ASHA Vol. 1" LP - On the ASHA label, catalog number is ASHA 1. This is the original 1969 U.S. private pressing LP - NOT A REISSUE. Monster spiritual jazz masterpiece featuring all Llloyd McNeill compositions. This is the guaranteed original stereo pressing in a thick cover!! Only a limited number of originals were made. The personnel: Lloyd McNeill/piccolo & flute; Gene Rush/piano; Steve Novosel/bass; Eric Gravatt/percussion; Paul Hawkins/Latin percussion. The vinyl is in NM condition (beautiful gloss)! The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape with only a hint of storage wear. Back cover has a very faint stain along opening edge only. There are NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
