Description
As follows:
RCA Victor LM 6105.
J.S. Bach - Sonatas and Partitas for unaccompanied violin.
Jascha Heifetz.
3 x LP Set, Original 'Shaded Dog' Mono Pressings, Made In USA.
Condition Vinyl: VG+ to EX.
There are several light marks, and harilines and one of the Lps has a very slight dish. However I have sample played all sides, and the LPs play very well. There are a few passages of crackle, as expected with these early mono pressings, and some light pops and ticks, but no major issues.
There is a mark on Side 5 between bands 3 and 4, but there is no noticeable distortion.
Please do not expect perfect sound reproduction, as this set has been well enjoyed, and played over the years.
It is a sought after boxed set, so the low price should reflect the sound quality.
