Description
Piano Music of Mendelssohn and Liszt with Vladimir Horowitz on Piano. This is a USA ED1 Mono LP from 1951 on the RCA label and Cat No- LM 9021.It has LP-E2-RP-4370-X , LP-E2-RP-4371-X Matrice. The record that has manafactured in Germany stamped into the runout grooves is very clean and visually graded EX. The labels are both very clean and have- Made in USA printed on them and are EX . The printed in USA front pasted sleeve has some wear as seen in my 12 photos-please look for yourself,incl a small tear to the top and the bottom of the opening edge and some splitting on the spine and a small area of paper loss on the reverse right corner.Its still a nice clean presentable sleeve and i would grade it G+. This was the 1st time i believe that Andy Warhol had done the artwork on an LP album sleeve in 1951 with the Piano keys and Pianists fingers.It was a prercursor to the artwork on the Jazz albums that he famously went on to do. The original shaped inner sleeve has torn across the bottom-but i have left it with the record because its the original 1954 inner that came with the record when new.I will also send a plain period vintage inner sleeve with the record.
