Description
LOCOMOTIV GT - MINDIG MAGASABBRA
A superb condition copy, with gleaming vinyl and outstanding stereo audio reproduction, of this rare and highly sought after 1976 1st press prog/Krautrock gem on the coveted olive green German Brain record label, STEREO, BRAIN 1085
The dead wax matrix numbers are :
Side 1 0701.054 - S1 BRAIN 1085 - A pf with stampers "A " and "1" at 2 o'clock and 9 o'clock respectively
Side 2 0701.054 - S2 BRAIN 1085 - B pf with stampers "1 " and "C" at 7 o'clock and 5 o'clock respectively
A brilliant condition copy of this rare 1976 German 1st press prog/Krautrock gem with gleaming jet black sheen vinyl - difficult to identify any marks at all, even with close inspection under a bright light, though if you do look very, very closely you may spot just a couple of extremely light paper scuffs and a single, tiny white spot towards the end of track 4 on side 1, which is non-feelable, purely surface only and superficial, and does not impact upon playback at all - clearly this vinyl has been sparingly played; near perfect olive green Brain labels with no spindle trails though there does appear to be a little very light rubbing in the centre of the side 2 label; gorgeous condition laminated outer sleeve with firm edges, no scuffs, no creases, barely any laminate lifting, no fraying on opening edges, near perfect corners and all colours/art work/text remain beautifully intact - a small area of some very light surface creasing in one corner on the reverse side and a very small light spine "nick" are the only blemishes; original and near perfect condition plain white inner sleeve; wonderful stereo audio quality with no sticks, jumps, repeats, skips, clicks, interference or background crackle - just perfect! Rock, prog, Krautrock, acid, psych - call it what you like, it's all here and sounds brilliant!
The tracks are :
Side 1 :
1. INTUITION
2. SCOLD ME IF I SING TOO LOUDLY
3. I'D GO THAT WAY
4. HIGHER AND HIGHER
5. AND THE DOCTOR CAME
Side 2 :
1. I'M WRITING THE SONG FOR YOU
2. DREAM FACED GIRL
3. NO ONE SHOULKD TELL ME
4. A FORGOTTEN WORD
5. I'M SITTING ON THE PAVEMENT
In summary a beautiful condition and sparingly played copy of this rare and sought after 1976 German 1st press prog rock/Krautrock gem on the coveted olive green Brain record label. A "must" for any serious prog rock vinyl collection and will only continue to gain in value.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting vinyl for more than 50 years and have amassed a huge collection covering a varied genre, but mostly of 1960's and 70's origin. Most of my records were originally bought by myself for my own collection, but during the past 30 years I have embellished my collection by buying records from a variety of sources : friends/acquaintances, car boot sales, auctions, and even through putting up a "vinyl wanted" notice in my wife's shop! I am now retired and take great delight in being able to spend more time scouring the country and attending boot sales and auctions in the hope of unearthing more vinyl gems...I am 66 years of age now and am still discovering bands and music of the 60's and 70's that I have never come across before. Wonderful! Richard
My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I'll sort out the problem. I offer a "no quibble" refund policy.
On the subject of postage, I take great care in the packaging of all items, using a proper vinyl thick cardboard mailer, along with extra protective flange edges, with at least two thick cardboard stiffeners. I take great care in separating the record from the outer sleeve in order to help prevent sleeve damage in transit and I always insert the vinyl, outer sleeve and inner into a clear plastic sleeve, thus adding further protection.
For this item postage & packaging will be UK £4.00, Royal Mail 1st class, signed for;
Continental Europe £13, and Rest of the World £17 respectively, Royal Mail 1st class international Airmail tracked and signed for
I DO discount post & packaging costs for multiple purchases. I do NOT profit from postage.
Good luck with your bidding!
NOTE : My vinyl descriptions comply with the official Record Collector vinyl grading guidelines :
