Description
Up for auction here at NO RESERVE is Beethoven's Complete Piano Sonatas performed by Wilhelm Backhaus on the London label, catalog #CSP-2. The 10 LPs are all NM and appear unplayed. The booklet is NM. The box is NM- with just a little light rubwear to the edges of the front artwork. Structurally, the box is sound, which is sometimes not the case with these heavy box sets. The records were made in England, so although the labels say London, it's basically a Decca set. These are rarely offered up often in any condition. Don't let this nearly perfect one pass you by. Once a package goes over 4 lbs (usually at 5 records), the package can no longer be shipped First Class. It automatically becomes Priority Mail. Any package valued over $200 must also be shipped Priority Mail. Shipping via Priority Mail starts at $38 for a 4 lb. package (usually around 5 records).
