LONESOME TRAIN Musical Legend Abraham Lincoln 1944 Decca folk early Pete Seeger Shipping Info Description Vintage lp record set: THE LONESOME TRAIN - A MUSICAL LEGEND (about Abraham Lincoln) - Music by Earl Robinson; Words by Jeffrey Lampell; with Lyn Murray and His Orchestra and the Jeffrey Alexander Chorus; narrated by Earl Robinson, with BURL IVES (Ballad Singer) and PETE SEEGER (a very early recorded performance) - Decca album no. DA-375 (29M Personality Series), released in 1944; this is the first pressing (it was issued as a 10" lp in 1950); includes three 12-inch 78 rpm records, and liner notes and photos inside the covers, including two with Pete Seeger and one with Burl Ives. CONDITION: VG+/VG+ (the vinyl has moderate scuffing and a few minor scratches - plays well with some minor background noise; the jacket has minor cover rubbing, moderate edge wear, some heavy corner rubbing, strong hinges, clean spine).
