Here for offer is an ultra cool, rarely offered original issue 45 from 1966 in near mint* condition by the Chicago based garage trio LONG JOHN and THE SILVERMEN recorded at the M.B.S. studios and released on the bands own label, WANTED (catalog number 001). Included are the following tracks: Side A: "Heart Filled With Love"(2:15) & Side B: "Wind In The Sky" (2:35). "Heart Full Of Love" is a highly-rated garage band track and has appeared on the compilation LP "Back From The Grave, Vol. 6". The flip side, "Wind In The Sky", is a dreamy, non-pretentious vocal track that features some tasty guitar licks, and holds it's own as a nice compliment to the A side. *Only when held at a certain angle is there a very small portion (about one inch) of the outer rim of the 45 that appears to have a "frost" like appearence. Beyond a soft short "whoosh" sound heard for a split second (once for each of the first two revolutions of the lead in grooves) before the music starts, this does not effect the playing surface at all and the record plays and sounds fantastic when played by my Sumiko Moving Coil Blue Point cartridge (I only mention my cartridge & needle brand because when it comes to the condition of the playing surface of a record, this set-up really tells the tale!). The vinyl is indeed in tip-top condition! The A side label is perfect and the B side label appears to have one small thin bluish line on it, which you can view in the picture below. This is a truly beautiful copy of this record! This rarely offered 45 will make a great addition to your garage band collection.
