Excellent vintage rhythm and blues 45 featuring MARVIN PHILLIPS shown here as LONG TALL MARVIN, on the MODERN label out of Los Angeles, from 1957.
Titles are “Have Mercy, Miss Percy” and “Tell Me Darling.”
This is a stock copy, black label with silver print. Catalog number is 45x993.
Guaranteed to be authentic and original. I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
Condition is nice VG+ to VG++ with full original gloss. There are a few light scuffs and a couple minor hairlines that do not adversely affect the playing. The fidelity is very strong as you can hear in the sound clip below. The labels are clean and pristine. This record plays very nicely as you can hear in the sound clip below. .
