"Longbranch Pennywhistle"
1969 LP
(Amos Records AAS 7007)
Vinyl and Gatefold Sleeve in Excellent Condition, with no trace of ring wear on sleeve. This is a cut-out copy, the top left-hand corner of the sleeve has been neatly cut off.
This extremely rare self-titled LP was the only recording issued by the duo of Glenn Frey and John David Souther. The obscure Amos Records label was dissolved shortly after the LP's release, the duo broke up, and of course Frey moved on to fame and fortune with the Eagles.
Included among the stellar roster of supporting musicians on the album are Ry Cooder (or Ryland P. Cooder, as the liner notes list him!), James Burton and Buddy Emmons.
