What you are bidding on is a very tough to find copy of LONNIE JOHNSON: LONESOME ROAD. This is a pressing of this classic lp From the USA that was on the deep groove, KING RECORDS.  Lonnie Johnson "Lonesome Road" Mono LP King 395-520 (1958). Alonzo Johnson, born in New Orleans in 1889, was one of the great influences on both Blues guitar and vocals. Like so many of the legends, his recording successes were few, limited to four tunes that made the R&B Singles chart in 1948-50. Three of those appear on this, his first album: "Tomorrow Night" (#1 in 1948), "Pleasing You" (#2 in 1948), and "So Tired" (#9 in 1949). He first recorded for Okeh in 1925, cutting an astonishing 130 songs between 1925 and 1932, and playing with Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington along the way. A rare Blues record in Near Mint condition is a terrific combination! It does not get any better than this.  ONE OF THE RAREST BLUES RECORDS EVER!

FACTORY SEALED: These lps are a good as you can get, bear in mind it may have a piece of dust on it. It may have a tiny ding on the corner, but what do you expect for records that are 30-40 years old. They are well worth having and probably have less damage on them than you do.  (I'm only saying this for people who expect these things to be totally flaw free after 30 years, if you are that critical DON'T BID, I REPEAT DON'T BID!).  99.9% of you will be well happy with them.

VG+ This is not mint, there may be a few scuffs, tiny seam splits, mabe a piece of tape, but the cover still looks good considering it's age.
VG: This will be very noticeable larger seam splits, repairs, somewhat worn, but still ok.
