ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please inquire new discounted shipping rates. An adjusted invoice will be prepared upon item closing.
This is an ORIGINAL FIRST STEREO PRESSING OF Elvis' first Long Playing album. Popularly referred to as the 'STAGGERED STEREO' issue due to the print layout promoting the then new 'ELECTRONICALLY PROCESSED' stereo technology. These pressings are very hard to come by, and are listed at $200 NM value on Presleyana.
Cover: VG+. BEAUTIFUL AND RADIANT COLORS! Full, with no rubbing or ringwear! The edges are strong, straight, and clean - only the corners where the disc loads shows some wear - NO SEAM SPLITS. There is a name written on the front cover (on Elvis' guitar) in ink with small letters - NO TOO DISTRACTING (SEE PICS). The back cover is beautiful, with the white foreground looking radiant. There are a few short creases on the front right edge (spine) seen at an angle; another crease can be seen along the bottom edge.
Disc: Side 1: VG+. Only has one 'feelable' scratch which creates a small tick; there are NO OTHER MARKS. Side 2: EXC-. The disc has a somewhat dull finish. Otherwise, NO FURTHER ISSUES TO REPORT ON THIS ONE!
Labels: Side 1: VG++. Has a scratch and a few light spindle traces. Otherwise, the label has a very attractive, smooth finish - NO WRITING OR STICKERS. Side 2: NM. Fabulous label!
Inner sleeve: VG+. Has a bit of browning and is splitting a bit along the bottom edge.
UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, WE FURNISH BRAND NEW WHITE, INDUSTRY STANDARD PAPER INNER SLEEVES IN ADDITION TO BEAUTIFUL, BRAND NEW POLYETHYLENE OUTER SLEEVES WITH ALL ORDERS.
