Description

Lord Luther with the Kingsmen: “I Was A) Teenage Creature”/Lord Luther with the Garnets: “Turn the Key” on Frantic Records F-107

Utterly incredible 1958 release on this amazing label!  Side 1 is a honkin’ horror/novelty soaked with B-movie-references (I’m pretty sure The Cramps heard this), while side 2 is a sweet R&B-ballad reminiscent of say, Little Willie John. Get it in time for Halloween, boys and ghouls! (Aw, that was a cheap one…!)

The labels have some lite glue-bubbling on both sides, but are overall in perfect shape. There are some finger-smudges and fine hair-lines on both sides of the otherwise very glossy vinyl. This 45 is graded a strong VG to almost VG+ overall.
