Description

LORETTA LYNN: The Darkest Day/Gonna Pack My Troubles,  ZERO Records, 7" Single 45 RPM. Loretta Lynn was housewife when she approached Zero Records in Canada.  Zero signed her and produced her first singles.  This record is clearly marked "audition" on both sides.  Loretta and her husband marketed the records the hard way, driving in their car and dropping in on radio stations to give them her records.  It worked and her first single made no 14 on the charts.  Decca bought her contract so her stay with Zero Records was short lived. Very rare
