Description

LORRAINE GELLER At The Piano LP DOT DLP 3174 Original 1959 US Mono Deep Groove.
Up for auction/sale is a highly sought-after piece of West Coast jazz history: the rare **1959 original US mono first pressing** of Lorraine Geller At The Piano. Released on **Dot Records (DLP 3174), this features the authentic, heavy vinyl "Deep Groove" labels highly prized by audiophiles.
Lorraine Geller was a brilliant, tragic talent who passed away far too young, making this one of the absolute few records featuring her leading her own trio.
Item Specifics: Label: Dot Records Catalog Number: DLP 3174 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Mono, Deep Groove Country: US Released: 1959
Condition & Grading:
Vinyl Condition: Very Good (VG) to Very Good Plus (VG+). The vinyl shows some light, superficial surface wear/sleeve hairlines under direct light. It has been handled with care and retains much of its original gloss. (Optional: Plays through well with minor background crackle typical of a 1950s pressing, but no skips.)
Sleeve/Jacket Condition: Shows typical vintage shelf/edge wear consistent with age, but the artwork is clean and the spine is intact. Please see high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic condition.
Shipping & Handling: This valuable record will be shipped securely in a professional, heavy-duty cardboard vinyl mailer with extra padding. The vinyl will be removed from the jacket prior to shipping to prevent any seam splits during transit.
