ACORDEONES VALLENATOS

“VOL. 3”

MEGARARE original Fonodisco Records very first MONO press released, produced and distributed in Venezuela in 1972 by Fonodisco Records, made by Vialco Records, with RARE white/black Vialco Records labels, catalog number FLP-556, with hand etched matrix numbers FONODISCO- LP: 556-A VENEVOX ceo (“ceo”, a sign) in Side A and FONODISCO. LP. 556-B- VENEVOX ceo (“ceo”, a sign) in Side B. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from South America!!!

“ACORDEONES VALLENATOS VOL. 3” was originally released in Venezuela in 1972. It has an UNIQUE COVER, made of two single sheets of paper attached, not glued, to a thin cardboard and kept together for an outer plastic bag which’s part of the cover, similar to the Chilean covers of that period. Back cover informs the tracklist divided in Side A and Side B with performers for each song. In labels it’s the album title with tracklist with full credits but no interpret of the songs. It’s curious that all songs are credited to “D.R.”. The tracklist with the interpret of each song is:

Side A

1    El Gusano – Libardo Alvarez Y Su Conjunto

2    Ritmo Playa Y Mar – Los Indígenas

3    Sangre Goajira – Los Indígenas

4    Bahía Solano – Los Rumberos

5    Alegre Paseito – Los Rumberos

6    Tempestad – Los Rumberos

Side B

1    Silvia – Los Rumberos

2    Llegó El Cumbiambero – Los Rumberos

3    La Corredera – Los Chavales Del Ritmo

4    La Monteriana – Los Chavales Del Ritmo

5    La Cangreja – Los Chavales Del Ritmo

6    La Bata Loca – Los Chavales Del Ritmo

The cover was already described and it’s in great VG or VG+ condition, clean, no ring marks (the ring mark in the picture is in the plastic bag, not in the paper), some slight age browning and a number written in back cover that you can see in the picture. Outer plastic bag is in great condition with minimal wear in the corners only and the little hole already informed, made to write that number in back cover and a little seam split in top edge. The record is in EX or EX+ condition both sides, glossy and clean, with scuffs, minimal light hairlines and some light scratches, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in EX or EX+ condition, clean and clear, with only some age browning. The sound is the best part, it’s in strong EX- or EX condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), only some minimal occasional crackles here and there and some soft pops more evident in the song “Sangre Goajira” which of course don’t cause distraction at all. Overall a great record with still a great glossy look and still an amazing sound quality after 40 years!!! And keep in mind this is a COMPLETE edition with the outer plastic bag, it’s the MEGARARE VERY FIRST MONO PRESS with RED FRONT COVER and a superb sound quality!!! A great album in still a great condition!!! WOW!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the cover and labels in detail.

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

_________________________________________________________

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.

IMPORTANT TO READ

We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift.

If you have some doubt or question feel free to contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item.
