Description
This is one of the rarest Jay Reatard records - the Flood Version of the Lost Sounds' Black-Wave. This grey marble vinyl double LP was one of the ones sold only at a few shows. The band's house flooded right before a show, ruining the sleeves in one or two cases of records. Instead of pitching them all, they found the DIY punk solution — they hand-made new black-and-white covers at Kinko's for their next short run of shows. I'm not sure how many there are total, but I think there were less than 50. I've never actually seen one on eBay and there aren't any on Discogs either. I purchased this directly from the band at their show at Slow Bar in Nashville, TN. Feel free to ask any questions.
The records are in great shape and the sleeves look terrific.
