LOU DONALDSON SEXTET, VOL. 2 LP - On Blue Note BLP 5055.  Original FIRST PRESS 1955 Mono 10" LP, DEEP GROOVE with the classic Blue & White labels and the 767 Lexington AVE NYC address on both clean labels.  Flat edge with RVG, "ear" and catalogue number engraved in the dead wax of both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick carboard cover.  The personnel:  Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Kenny Dorham/trumpet; Matthew Gee/trombone; Elmo Hope/piano; Percy Heath/bass; Art Blakey/drums.  The vinyl is in nice EX++ to NM condition (beautiful sheen)!  Hard to find a disc this clean - this old.  The cover is excellent and displays wonderfully.  Some faint tape stains along edges.  Small # stamped on back.  NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks of any kind.  The songs are:  After You've Gone; Caracas; The Stroller; Moe's Bluff.
