This auction is for LOU DONALDSON - LD +3 WITH THE 3 SOUNDS blue note records mono blp 4012 The glossy laminated cover grades a low vg+. There are not stickers, or writing to the cover and all seams are solid. The front looks great showing some light wear the rear has yellowed some and there is piece of paper missing at the bottom by Gene Harris. Otherwise a nice early cover that still looks great. The record a original mono deep groove pressing is vg. The record still has a great sheen to it but under bright light some marks can be seen. Most of these marks are minor but I count about 5 that I would call scratches. On playback the record sounds great punchy sound at points some of these defects can be heard but I still found this a great listen with my moving coil pick up. A pretty rare early blue note deep groove press with the rvg and the ear or "P" to the dead wax. Not in top shape but the quality of the pressing shines through and this sounds killer.
