LOU DONALDSON Lou Takes Off (EX/EX) Vinyl LP
Record label/brand: Blue Note BLP 1591 upc/mpn: None year: 1957

47 West 63rd label. Deep Groove... RVG and "ear" on both sides. Comes with original Blue Note inner sleeve. A Blue Note Mono Hi-Fi classic.
Sleeve is in EX (excellent) condition. Glossy cover still has shine. Spine is straight and in great shape. Four corners are sharp. There is slight blunting on the bottom right corner and a very minor bend on the top right corner. Back is in great shape except for a slight bit of ring wear on the top. Vinyl has a few visual scuffs but plays very nicely. Slight surface noise in spots but nothing major. Excellent.

Review: This was Lou's third album for Blue Note in 1957, the other two being Wailing With Lou and Swing and Soul. A great hard bop outing with a bit of straight bebop that comes highly recommended. Personel: Lou Donaldson (alto sax), Donald Byrd (trumpet), Curtis Fuller (trombone), Sonny Clark (piano), George Joyner (bass), Art Taylor (drums)

Shipping for records within the USA is $4.00 for the first LP and $2.00 for each additional LP sent at the same time. These will be sent USPS Media rate with "Delivery Confirmation" which guarantees a tracking number. 
Shipping to Canada will be First Class Mail International. $10.00 for the first LP and $3.00 for each additional LP sent at the same time.
Rest Of The World will be shipped USPS International Express. This guarantees a one week or less turnaround and provides tracking information for a safe delivery. $40.00 for one or two LPs (shipped together), and $5.00 for each additional LP shipped at the same time.
