This is an original 1972 UK very first pressing of LOU REEDS 1972 MATERPIECE and groud breaking LP Transformer. Viscious. Satellite of love. Wild Side and the TOTAL masterpiece PERFECT DAY.... Worth your best bid for those alone !
The 1E 1E mothers and stampers are the identifiers that this is the very earliest UK pressing in existence. This first pressing comes housed in the very first album sleeve which was FULLY LAMINATED both front and back panels. ALL the later sleeves were the way inferior none laminated variety, so here is the FULL ORIGINAL 1E1E LAMINATED sleeve.... impossible to find.
The sleeve has a few laminate lift on the front panel from near the spine area and from top to bottom. The rear of the sleeve the laminate lift goes from the bottom to about 2 inches from the top, i have tried to capture this in the pictures but its very difficult. The spinal writings are all in very good order and can be read clearly. Although there is laminate lift the sleeve is still in fine order so graded Excellent minus.
The labels are in pristine condition to both sides and there is absolutely NOTHING bad to report about the album, both sides look like they have not been played and the album plays flawlessly all the way through its entirety. I am grading the album a very conservative EXCELLENT. This condition, 1E1E FULLY LAMINATED SLEEVE !
You would be very hard pressed to find a better copy.
