Description

Original American Dynflex Pressing
LOU REED 'TRANSFORER'       Here is a very nice original pressing of Transformer; it's an American 'Dynaflex' pressing from 1972 issued on RCA LSP 4807. The pressing is marked A1/A2 - I'm assuming this means it is a first pressing ...

I am listing another nice original Lou Reed this week - a UK issue of 'Berlin'. Please take a look at my other items.   Track Listing: Please click on the pictures above to see enlarged images and to read track listings:
Grading: I use the 'Record Collector' magazine grading system. Please see below. CONDITION: Visual grading is EX. Cover is nice and solid, without splits or damage. It has the beginnings - only very slight - of ringwear. The vinyl has faint paper scuff but is otherwise EX, with no sign of spindle marks. One of the best original copies you might find. The pressing is marked A1/A2. The images here are scans of the actual item, so you can enlarge to get a good sense of condition.
POSTAGE & PACKING: £2.75 (UK), £6.00 (Rest of EEC), £11.00 (Rest of World). International rates quoted are via airmail. Surface Rates may be available.
I will be happy to combine postage on multiple purchases. Buyers, regardless of how many items purchased, only pay actual cost of postage and packing.
PAYMENT: Paypal or (for UK buyers, if preferred) cheque or postal order Record Collector Grading System:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Thank you for looking at my auction. I aim to be accurate with my descriptions but, if for any reason, I have made a mistake and you are unhappy with the item, please give me the opportunity to make things right. All items are posted via standard post (unless otherwise directed) and I will obtain, as proof of postage, a Certificate of Posting. On valuable items, you might want to consider having them sent via Registered or Signed For and taking out insurance, which I can organise .
